Baby Wrap
Do you use a ‘swaddle’ wrap or just a blanket to wrap your baby at night?
I am confused to whether or not to buy a swaddle wrap!! With my first son, i just wrapped him in a blanket, for my second baby (due in two weeks) i have bought the baby sleeping bags cause its going to be winter, and i did have trouble with my first baby kicking off blankets etc
Is it worth it buy swaddle wraps?
I don’t like the idea of a swaddle wrap. Yes I know newborns like to feel like they are in the womb, bla bla bla. But what if mine doesn’t? What if he wants his arms free?
I just stuck to a receiving blanket, and WARM pj’s. I didn’t feel comfortable using the comforter that came with the crib bedding, as it seemed too heavy. (And lord knows you’re a bad mother if you don’t believe everything you read right!? lol Kidding.)
Anywho, I just made sure my son was wearing warm enough pj’s so that if he did kick off his only receiving blanket (which of course he did), he wouldn’t be cold. I also kept the temp in the house 1 degree warmer than usual, and made sure his door was wide open by the time I went to bed. (for circulation.)
He’s 2 years old now, and that is still the general rule. (Although I now use the comforter. lol)
