Does a diaper bag count as a purse?
The flight has tons of seats left.. like 40 out of 116 open. So I know there wont be an issue with too much carry on stuff. I am bringing a regular sized jansport backpack, my son has a two year old little backpack. It says you can have a purse in addition to your one carry-on, so can I bring a diaper bag… I mean its big purse size. And I booked the window and aisle seat with the seat in the middle of us empty so there will be plenty of room. Will they have a problem with this???? The diaper bag is like 18 inches long x 12 inches high and about 5 inches wide
I gave in and called Alaska Air….they said it was ok.. so you dont have to answer this.. you can wish me a happy flight with a 2 year old in 5 hours!! hhahah
Usually it states “purse or diaper bag.” Sometimes I have had them get a little picky about the size of the diaper bag, so do not bring your XXL one. But other than that, you should be ok.
Also, good luck with the wee one. Pick up some masking tape before you go. He will have tons of fun with it and it is cheap and easy to clean up. My kiddos enjoy taping down their crayons so they do not roll, pretending to fix my pretend broken arm, you can make a tape line race track on the fold down table for him to run Hot Wheel cars on, make sculptures or just take it off the roll and ball it up!
