Best baby carrier for a heavy 6 month old, he is long too.?
I *think* he is around 18-19 lbs and 28″. I am looking for a versitle way to carry my little guy. I have the Bjorn Active & like it, but he is getting too heavy to carry on my front all the time. I am some-what petite and need something to get me through the next 6 months or so til he can walk on his own. Any suggestions?
One of the most popular carriers is the Ergo Baby Carrier. You can wear it on the front or the back. It has padded straps so it’s comfy.

Another option is an Asian Baby Carrier (commonly known is a mei tai). You can also wear this on the front or on the back. Some have padded straps, and some have wide cloth straps that fit over your shoulders to evenly distribute the weight. Here’s one option:
