I got disqualified for a city carrier job at the post office for a suspended liscense from no car insurance…

Can i still get a job there and if i do how long do i have to wait for them to call me back in and how would that affect my position on the register? I heard it takes two years for violations to clear off you record but i am not sure they explained it very vague.
