How do I get my 6 mo old pup & a stray cat I adopted 2 get along 2gether?
They get along when GC(Gray Cat) is out side but when she comes in my pup acts wierd. She wants 2 play but GC doesn’t. Afterabt 1/2 hr they both settle down till the next night. GC ONLY come is @ night. Last night my pup got scrathed by GC but the scrathe healed pretty fast. I just don’t it 2 happen again!! How do I get them 2 b nice 2 each other!GC only defends herself against my pup she doesn’t mean 2 hurt pup but what can I do 2 have piece? They get alone great other wise. GC might also b pregnant! GC is a stray my hubby started feeding & used 2 hiss @ me now she loves me. I’m getting ready 2 buy her a cat carrier so she can sleep in there @ night w/o my pup trying 2 attack/play rough w/ her! They have been known 2 sleep 2gether after they both calm down. Any ideas would a great help!!
I am planing on getting her spayed after (if she is pregnant) no matter what! Along w/ my pup.
my cat was the same with my pups when i got them, she has scratched them a few times but is ok most of the time, they just have to get used to each other.
