If child or a kid take blood pressure medicine by mistake, what is the immediate action should one take?
this question asked just for precaution, it can help anybody in emergency.
If your child does ingest medicine:
* Stay calm and try not to upset your child.
* Take the medication away from your child.
* Notice whether your child is dizzy or losing consciousness.
>>If your child is already unconscious, take him or her to the emergency room or call 911 immediately<<
* If your child is not unconscious and doesn't appear to be dizzy or losing consciousness, call the poison control center at 1-800-222-1222 for instructions.
Note that the American Academy of Pediatrics no longer recommends keeping a bottle of ipecac syrup in your home or using ipecac syrup in cases of accidental poisoning. Instead contact your local poison control center and follow their instructions.
