What is the best way to remove indoor/outdoor carpet from concrete?

This s ragedy green indoor/outdoor carpet on a concrete patio that I want to remove and possibly paint the concrete.

Go to the hardware store or lumber yard and get a heavy duty, long handled scraper. Most of the carpet should pull up pretty easily, but you’ll need to scrape up all the glue before you can paint or anything else.
