Infant Swing
Do you limit the amount of time your baby is in the infant swing?
My baby is 7 weeks old.
She naps in the swing during the day for hours at a time.
I limited it because:
1. I was concerned about the constant motion straining the baby’s muscles at a young age.
2. I wanted the kids to be able to sleep while not moving.
Ask your doctor about this as 7 weeks is in the middle of when babies can first start using it (6-8 weeks).
Always double check that the baby is fastened securely and cannot slip— never go to sleep or rest while the baby is swinging.
