Is a one year old considered an infant or toddler?

She is exactly 12 months old and i read foods that say for toddlers (like gerber graduates). I know that doesn’t mean she can’t have the food, i was just wondering because she still seems like an infant to me. No she doesn’t walk yet.

if she’s your first and she’s 12 months, she’s a todder. if she’s a later child, she’s an infant.

the terms are fluid and a 12-month-old is on the borderline and could reasonably be described as either. older than 12 months i’d say toddler (toddling or not). don’t worry about the labels. she’ll still be having “infant” medicines for awhile, but can also eat “toddler” foods. that’s all just marketing!
