Light Blue Cotton Shorts Faded While Soaking How Do I Make Them Fully White?

I had a cola stain in my shorts and I soaked it out, it all came out but now the shorts are an an ugly very light blue. How do I make them white. Bleach? Keep Soaking?

If you keep bleaching them, they will get lighter, but there is no guarantee that you will get an even color of white.
