1988 chevy g20van new thermastat no if any heat read all thanks?
Have a 1988 chevy g20 350 eng-van and the heat sucks. it is hot,(at first) but comes out the vents lightly. The heater motor works good at all speeds,lo/med/hi. lots of power. what would restrict the air flow through the vents? just replaced the thermastat new,flushed the new junkyard RAD,manytimes for months.but the meter goes to halfway when ran 10 minits,then warm “lightly” then down the road it goes to zero then cold,garged insepted for the last 3yrs,only 68,000 4 real miles,anyhelp is always a blessing.p.s. got it 4 church to help pick peeps that cant get there
Sounds like the heater core is plugged restricting the water flow. Probably needs to be replaced. Good luck
