Wrapped themselves in velvet,

Tangled in thoughts.

The grass not green,

Violet flecks and speckled blue,

Lanterns crust the sky.

Touch one:

Soft, like gold leaf.

Precious, babyish.

Plastered with beauty,

Feet paddling in delicate joy,

Passionate enthusiasm kisses you on the cheek.

Remember the imitation bonsai trees,

Sway softly when the watery wind rattles,

Fall asleep on a bed of delight.

Blossom like confetti,

Showers you in special moonlight,

As one sails away on the figurine junk ships.

Turn to cabbage whites,

Flutter into total nothingness.

But leave something behind:

You leave your garden.

It wraps you in comforting embrace.
