Mosquito Net
im buying a mosquito net for travelling and didn’t realise it would be so difficult?
terylene meshing vs No-see-um Mesh- what is the difference?
Any tips for mosquito nets greatly appreciated.

I bought my net 5 years ago so I’m out of date. But I think a noseeum is what I would call a sandfly (smaller than a mosquito?) so I guess the noseeum has a denser mesh to stop sandflys as well as mosiquitos – the cynic in me thinks – marketing ploy.
The tip I remember most was make sure you buy a net/hanging kit that can be used in all sorts of room/location e.g. can be suspended from a single or odd angled hanging points. I’m pretty sure my net was Permethrin impregnated as well.
Do a search on the World Health Organisation site for pages like http://www.who.int/whopes/Long_lasting_insecticidal_nets_Sep_2010.pdf or Google mosquito net specifications, Permethrin, Deltamethrin and DEET.
