Why is my son so fat?

My son over the past few months has been noticeably squishy in his midsection. My little munchkin, being 12 and 8 months, 5’6” and 3/4, and 141 pounds, might be overweight. Is this true about my bundle of joy? He likes to eat, and his jelly-belly is starting to stick out UNDER his shirts, but can someone check?

Maybe try to give him healthier foods? Convince him to ride his bike if he has one or to play with friends. A lot of kids go through a chunky phase so try not to worry about it too much unless he starts to get really big.
