What baby sling do you recommend or just hate?

I have looked at lots of slings and have gotten more and more confused about what would be best. There are the one piece ones and the loop adjustable ones and I see the pros and cons of each. Then there are so many brands! What I want is answers from moms with personal experience of which you liked and didn’t like and SPECIFICALLY why! I’m looking for it to tote around newborn – about 6 months while doing activities with my 4 year old. Thanks

i tried a couple, and i never could find anything at all that was comfortable for me. it was HOT, bulky and the strap always made my neck break out, and my kids didn’t like being in them at all.
i gave up..and just used a compact stroller for short trips to places.
