How can I add a newborn baby’s name on the tickets that were booked months in advance.?

My wife is due to deliver in the end of november and We have to fly in the first week of jan. Now, waiting for the last month would mean that the tickets cost twice as much. I am getting a great price now, would it be possible to buy the tickets for my family now and then add the baby later when he / she is born. Thanks for the help.

I would call the airline and ask, I’m sure they can accommodate you, or have a certain procedure. I would look at the best rates you can find and call that airline directly.
