Will 50% polyester, 50% cotton, shirts stretch after being worn?

I just got a shirt from Urban Outfitters. I am always in between sizes; Medium and Large. Usually, I wear a Medium in Urban Outfitters, but this shirt, the large seemed better.

I don’t think it should stretch, or shrink for that matter, if it is a t shirt.
