Is it ok to have a beer or a glass of wine every day in front of my toddler girl?

I like to relax in the evening, so I have a 12 oz beer or a small glass of wine every day before dinner. I never go beyond that.

As long as you aren’t getting drunk or ignoring your child then I think it is good for her to see you drink in moderation. I think it takes the mystery out of alcohol and she will not be tempted to try it when she gets older. But do not lie to her about it being juice. Tell her the truth about what it is and that it is for grown ups only. We never hid alcohol from our kids and had no trouble with the teen years and now that they are adults one doesn’t drink at all and the other drinks maybe 1 beer a day. Good luck!
