Top Swing
What are some exercises I can do to overcome an over-the-top (or outside-in) swing path?
I thought I was over this problem, but every once in a while I’ll still slice one and see that my divot indicates an over-the-top (or outside-in) swing path.
Does anyone know of any exercises with or without weights that I can to do help reinforce the correct swing path that I usually have?
Try KJ’s suggestion. Or, I have always used 2 old shafts on the practice tee. I place one outside the ball and one inside the ball. I leave about 3 inches on each side of the ball so I won’t hit the shafts. This will train you to keep a good slotted swing plain.
