Walk Assistant
Does the assistant Super. have a right to complain to my colleague about me behind my Back over a coat?
I work in a daycare for 9 yrs. Twice in a row I got 2 kids coats mixed up . no coats were lost. When I took the kids out for a walk, the assistant Super. complained to my colleague friend about the coat mix up and if I do it the third time then she will coplain to the owner/Supervisor, What are my Rights Can I get Fired for this?
It would take the wind out of her sails, if you simply went to the boss, confessed your error and apologized. It seems like a small error, especially considering nothing bad came from it (no coats were lost). Don’t let others threats of blackmail, make your work life unpleasant. Go to the big boss or whomever you are afraid of and tell her directly. Be blunt, be honest and then FEAR NOTHING. Those who have nothing to hide, hide nothing.
