Walking Wings
Question about if your character’s going to grow angel wings?
Yeah, so I have a character who is down on earth to find a girl, obviously she’s not going to walk around with wings.
I have a part where the girl asks the angel,” If your an angel then where are your wings” and the angel I guess putting this logically wings sprout out from her back.
Though I’m clueless on how I’m going to describe that.
Should a bone come out of her back, and wings will grow on it?
I’m clueless with this.
The James Patterson books have the wings out full time. However a pilot/engineer friend of mine complains about the concept of wings as not being able to hold a full grown or even most child’s weight even if the bones were hollow like birds.
Now add to this you expect the wings to retract? If it is totally fantasy, I guess the wings can appear or disappear at will and actually work.
