What are good ways to come up with the money to buy this 1,200 dollar Arab?
I use a wheelchair so mowing lawns is not possible for me and I don’t like little kids so no babysitting. I’m under 13 too. I was thinking wash dogs or cars but I need some other ideas. If I were you, I would lease a horse, and not that one. I don’t mean to crush your dreams, really, it’s just that if you need to work hard to raise the money to buy a horse, you shouldn’t get one. The sale price is a about 1/3 of what you’ll spend on the animal the first year, so if you don’t have that….It’s just practical. A lease costs less, and has many of the same benefits. And if it doesn’t work out, you don’t have to try to sell the horse in this market.
As for that horse- I wouldn’t pay $1,200 for him. He has a terrible sway back and mediocre leg conformation, and an ewe neck that either means poor conformation or poor riding. (Probably both.) He doesn’t look look like he’s had any quality training under saddle. His only good point is he’s supposedly very quiet, but there are a ton of ponies and horses out there (Including old arabs, if you’re set on pretty) who only have quiet going for them, and cost half that amount.
