Can a play yard substitute for a baby crib?
i recently purchased the fisher price ocean wonders deluxe play yard, and im wondering if it can act in place of an actual baby crib for the time being for my son, who is due in december. It has all of the ammenities, even a changer. any thoughts?
I am expecing my first and I recently purchased a fisher price ocean wonders play yard for my son who is due in december (arizona). It does not have a bassinet attachment, but it has all the other ammenities including a detachable changer that you typical find in play yards
Double check the weight limits but I’m sure your new family member will be well under the specificiations. I use a play yard when I visit my mother on weekends and my son is used to it, and sleeps nicely. He is well rested uses it fine. The only logistical issue I can think of espiecally in December is…since the play yard is lower to the ground it will be crucial to make sure there are no drafts whatsoever.
I never used the changer on mine, I just never felt comfortable changing him up high like that…I am admitably overly cautious though.
